Privacy Policy

No PennyPact account. No bank login. No card credentials. Your budget data stays on this device and, if enabled, syncs through your own iCloud. Optional public-holiday lookup may fetch country holiday dates without sending your budget amounts.

Information you enter

PennyPact stores the budget information you choose to enter, such as balances, planned income, expenses, categories, reminders, templates and household sharing state.

Local storage

Your budget is stored on your device by default. PennyPact does not require a PennyPact account and does not send your budget to a PennyPact-controlled server.

Optional PennyPact Pro features

PennyPact Pro unlocks unlimited planning, iCloud backup and sync, household sharing, widgets, receipt scan, export/restore and advanced reminders.

Optional iCloud backup and household sharing

If you turn on iCloud backup or invite a household member, PennyPact uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to store and share the budget data needed for that feature. This is controlled through the Apple ID and iCloud account signed in on the device.

Optional public-holiday lookup

If enabled, PennyPact may fetch country holiday dates to help adjust payday and budget-cycle dates. The lookup does not send your budget amounts, expenses, income, account balances or household data.

Bank and card credentials

PennyPact does not ask for, collect or store online banking usernames, passwords, card numbers or bank login credentials.

Analytics and advertising

PennyPact does not sell your data. This first release does not use third-party advertising trackers.

Support emails

If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. Please avoid sending bank credentials or full card numbers in support emails.

Children

PennyPact is not designed for children and is not intended to knowingly collect information from children.
